- Optional Subjects: Candidates can choose one optional subject from a list provided by the UPSC. Some popular optional subjects include History, Geography, Public Administration, Sociology, Political Science, etc.
- Interview (Personality Test): Candidates who qualify in the Main Exam are called for the Interview. It assesses the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills, and suitability for a career in the civil services.
